# Raptor MCP

Overview of the standalone Raptor MCP product, what it includes, how it authenticates, and when to use it.

## What Raptor MCP provides

Raptor MCP turns an MCP-compatible AI client into a capable Qlik builder for script work, app analysis, reload operations, metadata inspection, QlikView modernization, and governed analytics delivery.

The product now focuses on the standalone MCP runtime, Codex plugin bundle, and enterprise Streamable HTTP gateway. The previous hosted Qlik workspace and VS Code-compatible extension are retired from the active product surface.

- Qlik Cloud and QSEoW app, script, reload, object, and metadata tools.
- QlikView and QV2QS migration workflows for messy multi-folder estates.
- Power BI to Qlik migration handoff through a separate source-system MCP that generates manifests, build briefs, and validation packs.
- Full Raptor skills catalog for Qlik scripting, migration, governance, SSE, and analytics patterns.
- Web license portal for signup, annual base subscriptions, monthly project add-ons, user/module assignment, legal acceptance, and MCP API tokens.

## License and token model

Create an MCP API token from Dashboard > Account and set it as RAPTOR_MCP_TOKEN in the MCP client environment.

The token is revocable, shown only once, and checked against the paid Raptor MCP entitlement before tools are exposed. Direct tokens expose QC/QS for the active base package and only expose QV/PBI add-on tools when those modules are assigned to the token owner.
